U14 Girls Premier 2008 CASL Shootout CHAMPIONS!!
U-14 Premier Girls team won 2008 CASL shootout in Raleigh North Carolina.this past weekend. With a guest appearence from our very own Erin Mikula, who plays for North Carolina Tarheels, former player of the classics, helped coach our girls in the past, to Cheer them on! The girls were not going to disappoint her they came from behind in the first game 2-0 in the second half to win 3-2. Won in semi's in a shootout with some great saves from our awesome goalie, Ali. Won in finals 2-0,with great effort from all the girls playing as a TEAM!!! Way to go girls!

The Classics Hammer FC has been hosting the adidas Blue Chip Showcase Tournament for many years. Through years of hard work and commitment, the event has grown into one of the truly exclusive showcases of U-16 and U-17 men and women in the county. In 2008, it attracted in excess of 300 college coaches from throughout the United States. Since we stagger the start time of each match, each team's exposure is enhanced because college coaches can devote their attention to about one half of each match before the next one begins. Thus, a coach does not really have to choose which of several matches starting at the same time to observe. Each team plays only one match per day to help ensure a quality performance.
300+ college coaches attended the 2008 tournament over both weekends and the Classics Hammer FC received numerous compliments from the coaches, and participating teams, regarding the quality of the event and the great effort put forth by the Showcase organizers and support staff.

CLASSICS HAMMER FC BRINGS HOME TITLES FROM FALL BALL
Over two weekends Classics Hammer FC teams played some great soccer and had a lot of fun at the 2008 Fall Ball Tournament.
At the girls weekend CHFC saw no less than five teams get to the finals.The 10 Premier girls came back from two goals down to win in double overtime while the 13 Elite girls were perfect from the penalty spot to take the title after penalty kicks.Our 14 Elite girls,coached by Lindsey Niehaus, showed class and composure to get a comfortable win in the final. The 10 Elite girls and 12 Academy girls, in their first final, both fell a goal short but played great soccer all weekend.
The boys Fall Ball weekend gave CHFC four champions.The 9 Elite boys cruised through the field on the way to their first title while the 10 Elite boys ,in the match of the weekend, had to win it in double overtime to collect their second trophy of the season. The 12 and 13 Premier boys both took first place in the gold division while playing with remarkable skill. Congratulations to all the CHFC teams on two great weekends.
